Business Development | Commercial Representation | Strategic Partnerships
SADA opens Jordan and the wider region to international companies — market entry, commercial representation, government and stakeholder relations, and the partnerships that turn a plan into an operating business.
The name
السَّدى
In Arabic weaving, al-sadā is the warp — the threads stretched lengthwise on the loom before a single pattern is woven. Everything that follows is built on them.
The name also carries the root س د و — to extend, to reach, to expand — and السدو, the Bedouin weaving craft of Jordan and the Arabian Peninsula, where separate threads are woven into something strong enough to shelter a household. That is the role we play for the companies we represent.
What we do
Most international businesses do not fail in Jordan because the opportunity is wrong. They fail because nobody local owns the execution. We do.
Company formation, licensing and the practical groundwork of setting up — including the incentives available inside the Aqaba Special Economic Zone.
We act as your agent, representative or distributor: a local address, a local team and clear accountability for revenue in the market.
Access to the ministries, authorities and institutions whose decisions affect your project — and the judgment to know when and how to use it.
Pipeline, partners and customers identified, approached and converted on the ground, by people who are already in the room.
Joint ventures, agency agreements and transaction facilitation — from first introduction through negotiation to signature.
Investment and project opportunities identified, developed and supported through delivery, with local operations behind them.
Why SADA
Jordan runs on relationships and on knowing which door opens which process. We work inside those relationships every week, not from a slide deck.
Instead of a lawyer, a consultant, a fixer and an agent who never speak to each other, you get one commercial partner who carries the whole file.
We are established in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone — the port, the customs regime and the tax incentives that make Jordan work as a regional base.
About the founder
Zaid Al Adwan
Founder
Zaid has spent his career doing, inside global companies, what SADA now does for its clients: carrying a foreign business's interests through Jordanian institutions, and being the name the market holds accountable for the result.
He is Country Manager for Fortescue in Jordan, the global green energy group. Before that came almost twelve years at Shell — latterly as General Manager and Country Representative, with single-point accountability for Shell's presence in the country, and before that six years leading external and government relations across every level of Jordanian government.
He holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Hertfordshire.
